Has anything changed since the last inspection?

Data
Photographs of mixed quality from different cameras, plus a 3D model of the structure.
Built
An analysis that takes any image source, flags defects such as cracks and leakage, and registers the images to the 3D model so changes line up over time.
Result
Automatic damage mapping from a mobile device.

The question

Asset managers get stuck choosing monitoring equipment, and the choice then locks them in: change the camera and the history stops being comparable. The useful question is simpler than the procurement one. Has this structure moved, cracked or started leaking since we last looked?

What we did

We built the analysis around the data rather than the device, so it runs on a high-resolution survey image and on a quick photograph from a phone. Defects are flagged on both, and each image is registered to the 3D model, which keeps the record continuous as equipment and contractors change.

What it changed

Damage can now be tracked without a permanent installation, and low-cost tools bring monitoring within reach of a much wider audience.
